RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thanks for shopping at KATEI. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

We are happy to exchange your items within a period of 15 days from your date of purchase (as per the invoice). 

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, not damaged and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging and unopened.

 

Items that Cannot be Exchanged:  

We do not exchange the following items: 

• Any sale items or promotions  
• All types of candles and scents
• Gift cards

To complete your exchange, the item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Shipping of Exchanged Items 

In case of any exchange, a shipping/delivery charge of USD 2 applies in Lebanon. The fee applies each time an exchange is requested. For international exchange, international shipping rates apply for all exchanges  and the cost of returning the order will be fully borne by the customer.   

  

Cancellation

You can cancel your online orders by sending an email to info@kateishop.com within 12 hours.  If the goods are already dispatched at the time of cancellation no refunds are issued.

 

Pre-Ordered Items 

In some cases, we will provide you with the option to pre-order items that are out of stock but that will be restocked within a certain time period. You can contact us on info@kateishop.com or by phone for pre-ordering your items. Pre-ordered items cannot be cancelled. No discounts apply on any pre-ordered items. 

 

Refunds

We do not provide any cash or credit card refunds. Any amount paid to us in non-refundable. 

 

e-Gift Cards 

KATEI e-gift cards are automatically added to the recipient’s gift card balance. When using a gift card, purchases are deducted from your gift card balance. Any unused balance will remain associated with your account until the expiry date of the gift card. If a purchase exceeds your balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method.

Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods provided by Katei. Eligible goods and services are subject to change in our sole discretion. 

Your Katei gift card balance cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded; resold; used for payment outside of kateishop.com; used for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes, promotional or commercial purposes, including to facilitate the resale or shipment of goods from www.kateishop.com; redeemed for more than face value; transferred for value; redeemed for cash; returned for a cash refund. No portion of your kateishop.com balance may be transferred to another kateishop.com account. 

 

Defective Items

If your item is defective or is not working as it is supposed to and you wish to have it replaced, please contact us on info@kateishop.com.

 

International Orders (outside Lebanon)

Prices displayed online are the final product prices and shipping fees apply at checkout. These are the total fees chargeable by Katei. However, there may be additional fees such as duties (customs or others) or taxes that may be incurred when shipping internationally, depending on the country to which the shipment is made. These are only known after the shipment is made and shall be borne by the customer.
